Privacy Policy

RPG Equipment is a heavy equipment brokerage based in Worcester, MA. This page explains, in plain English, what information we collect when you use this site and what we do with it.

What we collect

When you fill out a form on this site (contact, equipment search, sell-your-equipment, financing, listing inquiry, dealer partner), we collect:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your phone number
  • Your company name (optional)
  • The message and equipment details you choose to share

We also collect basic site analytics — pages visited, browser type, approximate location based on IP — to understand which inventory and content people are interested in. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

What we do with it

We use the information you submit to:

  • Reply to your inquiry and answer your questions
  • Help you find equipment you're looking for, or find a buyer for what you're selling
  • Coordinate inspections, financing, and shipping with vetted partners when you ask us to
  • Stay in touch about machines that match what you told us you wanted

We do not sell your information to third parties. We do not send marketing emails to people who haven't asked for them.

Who we share it with

When you ask us to broker a deal, we share the relevant details with the other side (buyer or seller) and with shipping/financing/inspection partners as needed to close the transaction. We share the minimum needed to do the job — not your whole record.

We use a small set of vendors to run the business: Supabase (database hosting), Vercel (web hosting), Resend (transactional email), Google Workspace (email), and similar. Each holds a slice of the data needed to do their job.

How long we keep it

We keep customer and inquiry records as long as we have a working relationship with you, plus a reasonable archive period for tax and dispute resolution purposes (typically seven years).

Your choices

You can:

  • Email us at rcullen@rpgequipment.com to see what we have on file about you
  • Ask us to delete your records (we'll keep only what tax law requires)
  • Ask us to stop contacting you for any reason — just say the word

Children

This site is for businesses buying and selling commercial heavy equipment. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change this policy in any meaningful way, we'll update the "last updated" date above. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
